The Lighthouse Camera Club
was originally named the Lighthouse Gallery Camera Club . The first twenty-one years the club met at the Lighthouse Gallery in Jupiter Florida after forming in March 1981.
The club has sponsored several Photographic Society of America International Print Exhibitions at the Lighthouse Gallery Many guest speakers have aided the club and the community with in-depth insights on many aspects of both the art and craft of photography.
In the spring of 2003 the club moved its meeting place to the North County Senior Citizens Center in Palm Beach Gardens and appropriately changed its name to preserve some of its heritage and to distinguish it from its meeting location.
